Welcome to Day 22! Today our challenge is to get free stuff.  Who doesn’t like free stuff? 5 tips on how to get some free stuff of your very own below!

1. Free Music, Digital Books, and Apps

Amazon.com is one of my favorite places to shop – great prices, subscribe and save, Amazon Mom, Amazon Prime 2 day Shipping, Lightening deals, and so on. Everyday Amazon gives away freebies from a wide selection of music, eBooks, and Android app.

Don’t have a kindle? You can download the free app here for viewing eBooks on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, PC, or Android.

a. Get free Music from Amazon! There’s a wide variety of free music here.

b. Get free eBooks from Amazon! There is a rotation of 100 free eBooks here.

c. Get a free Android app daily from Amazon! Click here for today’s free App.

2. Free Product Samples.

Product Samples

Companies’ are always giving away free product samples. Interested in a specific product? No problem. Simply call or email the company to request a sample. Follow your favorite brands on Facebook to be updated on special promotions. Another idea is to follow blogs that focus on nothing but freebies. A good one to check out is Freebies4mom.

3. Couponing

Extreme couponing like anything else worth doing is a cumulative process and not an instant magical formula.

You will often find amazon coupon resources on the internet. You’ll also save yourself a lot of time and frustration by using them. There’s some amazing coup resources on the internet. By using these resources you will save yourself a lot of time and frustration.

Here are some recommended coupon matchup sites:

EverdayFamily – Free daily grocery coupons.
Coupons.com – Free daily coupons.
I Heart Publix – Publix match ups only.
Southern Savers – Match ups for Southern grocery stores.
One Deal at a Time – Really great Kroger & Randall’s lists (based out of Texas).
Surviving the Stores – Huge selection; based out of Texas.
Coupon Connections – Good match ups for the Pacific Northwest
Living Rich with Coupons – Focuses on the Northeastern United States; awesome Shoprite matchup
Cuckoo for Coupon Deals – Huge selection; really great Kmart matchup
Happy Homemaker Cindy – Based out of Michigan; great Meijer matchup
Nor Cal Coupon Gal – Based out of Northern California
Southern Cali Saver – Based out of Southern California
Penny Pinchin’ Mom – Based in the Midwest

4. Free Stuff on Craigslist

Check the free listings on Craigslist. This site is free to use. It’s pretty awesome to see what people are just wanting to give away!

5. Free Stuff on Freecycle

freecycleCheck the free listings on Freecycle. This site is also free to use. You do have to register and find a local group to join. However, as the saying goes one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.

  1. Well, who doesn’t want free stuff from Amazon, right? I think they’ve been giving out some pretty good deals lately as well, maybe it’s because there’s a lot of competition? Anyway, it’s nice that we’re benefiting from all of it. Hehe.

  2. We use many of these options to find free or very low cost deals. When we moved to Tennessee we ended up furnishing our entire house with craigslist items. I find that I tend to spend too much with Amazon’s easy access to so many items especially with the new “one-touch purchase” button.
