July 14, 2015 is the annual Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-a! The hashtag being used is #CowAppreciationDay

To understand the history of this event can be found here which includes “renegade cows” marketing for 2 decades.

This is the day when customers who dress like cows are entitled to free food at all of the restaurant chain’s locations. A partial cow costume earns a free entrée, while a full-on “head-to-hoof” cow get-up gets customers a full meal.

Don’t have a cow costume? No problem. A printable costume is available to download for those without cow gear handy.

    • We loved doing this last year Liz. Unfortunately, we ended up going the day before to Chick-Fil-A. Then we had something at our church last that night after work. There’s always next year though!
