Move over and make room Black Friday. Amazon is bringing holiday-style shopping globally to its Prime membership this summer!

Amazon’s 20th anniversary is July 15, 2015, so the company has decided to celebrate by creating its own online summer sale bash – Prime Day!

The e-commerce giant is listed as number 29 on the Fortune 500 list.

The savings will start at 12:00 A.M. with new deals being offered throughout the day.

They’re saying there will be better deals than Black Friday. Amazon will be offering deals on products in categories such as electronics, toys, video games, movies, clothing, patio, sports & outdoors, and a whole lot more.

There will be unlimited FREE Two-Day Shipping.

Not an Amazon Prime member? No problem. Interestingly enough Amazon is offering a 30-day free Prime memberships for those who’d like to take advantage of Prime Day.

For parents, Amazon Mom is a great deal too.

Not interested in participating in Prime Day? No harm in entering for a chance to win $10,000 in Amazon gift cards.

What do you think? Is this a publicity stunt or something that will truly add value to the Amazon brand?
